[Abstract]Objective:To study the self perceived burden and depression in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and analyze its influencing factors.Methods: 126 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients in our hospital from May 2015 to February 2016 were inrolled,Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) and Self Perceived Burden Table Scale(SPBS-CP)were used and assessed on the patients,logistic regression equation to analyze the patients general information,observed may affect patients self perceived burden and depression factors.Results:The age, course of disease, education level, marital status, medical payment, complications and degree of dyspnea data in comparison had statistical difference(P<0.05).There were differences in information into the multi factor regression equation calculation and analysis showed that, age, course of disease, educational level, marital status, comorbidities and degree of difficulty in breathing were factors and affectted the patient self perceived burden; and educational level, marital status, medical pay, complications and degree of dyspnea were the factors influencing patients with depression.Conclusion:Patients with chronic respiratory diseases due to the longer duration, economic burden and other reasons, resulting in patients prone to depression and self perceived burden. The age, course of disease, education level, marital status, complications and the degree of dyspnea are the important factors influencing the depression status and self perceived burden of the patients.
