Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of cognitive behavior therapy on quality of life (QOL) and HD in hemodialysis patients. Methods: 86 patients were selected from January 2015 ~2016 year in September in our hospital for hemodialysis, were randomly, divided into observation group (n=43) and control group (n=43), the control group were given routine treatment, the patients in the observation group were given on the basis of cognitive behavioral therapy, quality of life and quality of HD were compared between the two groups the. Results: the observation group after treatment of SAS (8.83 + 1.27), SDS (7.53 + 0.86) were significantly lower than the control group, with significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05); the observation group after treatment, quality of life (50.71 + 2.84) was significantly higher than that of control group (38.89 + 3.46), with statistical significance the difference between the two groups (P<0.05); the observation group after treatment HD was significantly higher than the control group, with significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively improve the negative emotion, quality of life and HD quality of hemodialysis patients.
