[Abstract] Objective To explore the optimized elderly comprehensive assessment scheme for hospitalized senile dementia patients, and to verify its clinical application effect. Methods 100 elderly patients with senile dementia admitted to the mental health center of zigong city from January 2016 to September 2017 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group of 50 patients. The control group was treated with routine hospitalization procedures. The observation group was admitted to the optimized elderly comprehensive assessment program, and formulated the specific diagnosis and treatment plan and comprehensive intervention prescription according to the comprehensive assessment results. Admission assessment for the first time 12 weeks review, compare two groups before and after treatment in patients with sleep, mood and psychotic symptoms improve the situation, compare two groups of patients life quality, degree of care, nursing adverse events, the court feeling rate and patients families satisfaction index. Results After 12 weeks of treatment, the scores of PSQI, HAMD, HAMA and BPRS were statistically significant (P<0.01) before treatment. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05), but the difference between PSQI, HAMD, HAMA and BPRS was statistically significant (P<0.01), and the observation group was superior to the control group. The quality of life of the two groups was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05) in the physical condition, body pain, physiological function and overall health project. There was statistical significance (P<0.01) in the two groups of care difficulty, and the observation group was superior to the control group. The incidence rate of nursing adverse events in the observation group and the control group was 14.0% and 32.0%, respectively, and the incidence rate was 8.0% and 14.0% respectively. The observation group was better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The observation group was 97.5% and 83.2% in the control group. The score of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Optimized version of the comprehensive evaluation scheme in hospitalized patients with dementia symptoms, improve quality of life and reduce the incidence of adverse events, to reduce the hospital feeling, alleviate caregiver burden, improve the patient and family satisfaction have positive influence in many aspects and guiding significance.
