[Objective] To study the effect of psychological intervention on anxiety and depression of burn patients. [Method] From February 2018 to July 2019, 154 burn patients were randomly selected and divided into control group and research group, 77 in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the research group was given psychological intervention. Anxiety and depression before and after nursing intervention were compared between the two groups. At the same time, treatment compliance and quality of life were investigated, and nursing satisfaction was compared between the two groups. [Result] The SAS score and SDS score of the study group after intervention were lower than those of the control group, and there were statistical differences between the two groups (P < 0.05). After intervention, the treatment compliance score of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and there were statistical differences between the two groups (P < 0.05). The quality of life index scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the data of the two groups were also higher. There was a statistical difference (P < 0.05); the survey showed that the nursing satisfaction of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). [Conclusion] Psychological intervention can alleviate anxiety and depression in burn patients, which is worthy of popularization and application.
