[Abstract] Objective: To study the relativity between mental factors and gastric function in patients with functional dyspepsia. Methods: From December 2012 to November 2015, 100 patients with FD were chosen as study objects, 100 healthy people were chosen as control group. The SAS, SDS and gastric emptying time were compared between two groups. FD patients were divided into group A and group B randomly. The SAS, SDS, symptom score and gastric emptying time were compared between two groups. The relativity between SAS, SDS and symptom score and gastric emptying time were analyzed. Results: In FD patients, the SAS was(53.17±19.04), the SDS was(52.05±17.86), and the gastric emptying time was (114.92±18.35)min; in control group, the SAS was(21.19±12.84), the SDS was(17.89±11.21), and the gastric emptying time was(82.19±16.72)min, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). The SAS, SDS, symptom score and gastric emptying time had significant difference between group A and group B(P<0.05). The SAS, SDS and symptom score, gastric emptying time had significant relativity(P<0.05).Conclusion: the relativity between mental factors and gastric function is significant in patients with functional dyspepsia.
