[Abstract]: Objective: to analyze and understand the incidence and clinical features of depression in elderly patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: In January 2012~ March 2014, 100 patients with coronary heart disease were selected as the object of the study, and the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale was used to evaluate, According to the evaluation results ,100 patients were divided into coronary heart disease with depression group (observation group) and coronary heart disease without depression group (control group), to analyze the clinical symptoms and causes of coronary heart disease combined with depression, and to compare the results of dynamic ECG monitoring and the death of the two groups. Results: The incidence of coronary heart disease in women with depression was 54%, the main clinical symptoms were depression, sleep disorders, interest, and so on. The reason was related to family relationship and social support. Dynamic ECG monitoring results showed, compared with the control group, the observation group of ventricular arrhythmias, atrial arrhythmias and ischemic ST-T band changes were significantly higher (P<0.05). Follow-up found, compared with the control group, the mortality rate was significantly higher in the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The female elderly patients with coronary heart disease patients with high probability of depression, the prognosis is poor, the clinical response to the disease patients with active and effective treatment.
