[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the effect of estrogen levels and maternal role adaptation for psychological intervention on postpartum depression patients. Methods: 90 cases of with postpartum depression from May 2014 to May 2015 were treated, according to the draw divided into control group and study groups , 47 of each group , the control group were given usual care, the study group were based joint psychological intervention, before and after treatment, two group’ Estrogen levels change, and adapt to the role of mother score, postpartum depression scale score were compared.Results: after 4 weeks of treatment,E1 level in study group was higher than the control group [37.65 ± 4.62 vs 29.51 ± 4.25] nmol / L,E2 in study group was higher than the control group [51.86 ± 5.59 vs 42.35 ± 5.42] nmol / L,E3 in study group was higher than the control group [28.93±2.31 vs 25.48±2.25]nmol/L,there was a significant difference(P <0.05);after 4 weeks of treatment, The mother role identity score in study group was higher than the control group [8.36 ± 0.59 vs 6.98 ± 0.42] points, care behavior score in study group was higher than the control group [8.79 ± 0.91 vs 7.14 ± 1.12] points, parent-child attachment rates in study group was higher than the control group [8.98 ± 0.89vs 7.65 ± 1.25] points, there was a significant difference(P <0.05);after 4 weeks of treatment,GDS scores in observation group was lower than the control group[10.35±1.24vs 11.38±1.30]points,after 8 weeks of treatment,EPDS scores in observation group was lower than the control group[7.41±1.22 vs 8.74±1.28]points,there was a significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion: Psychological intervention used in patients with postpartum depression can significantly improve the patients negative emotions,Reduce EPDS score,increase estrogen levels, but also to adapt to a more patient mothers role.
