【Abstract】Objective: To explore the clinical application value of solution-focused approach in the psychological intervention of prostatitis patients. Methods: 90 cases of prostatitis patients in our hospital from April 2013 to August 2015 were divided into experimental and control groups. Control group was given conventional psychological nursing + symptomatic drug treatment, the experimental group was added with solution-focused approach, includ develop psychological strategy, psychological nursing care, after 6 months of treatment, the anxiety and depression improvement situation, ability of daily living, nerve function and prognosis were observed and compared. Results: Before the intervention, the two groups of patients Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores were not significantly different (P>0.05), after treatment, the SAS and SDS scores of experimental group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01). The experimental group and control group total effective rate were 91.11%, 73.33%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Conclusion: The solution-focused approach intervention of anxiety and depression has good treatment effect in the treatment of prostatitis patients, and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
