Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effects for the patients with schizophrenia by hospital - family continue nursing care. Methods 59 cases of patients as the control group and 66 cases of patients as the experiment, the anxiety depression, rehabilitation efficacy, medication adherence and degree of disability of social function were compared. Results The scores of SAS, SDS for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The scores of life ability, social skills, interests, personal hygiene for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The compliance for the experiment group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05); The rate of relapse for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The scores of cognition, athletic ability and self care, get along with others for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion It can improve the clinical effects for the patients with schizophrenia by hospital - family continue nursing care, improve the psychological state, medication adherence degree of disability and social function, reduce the rate of relapse, it has high values of clinical extension.
