〇bjective To compare the therapeutic effect of escitalopram and paroxetine for treatment depres-sion patients with anxiety symptoms. Methods 134 cases of depression paLients with anxiety symptoms in our hospi- tal during January2014 to June2015 were selected. Divided paLients to observation group and control group by ran-dom number table method, and every group have67 patienLs. Observation group patients were treated with escitalo- pram, the control group were treated with paroxetine. A11 patients were treated for6 weeks to3 months. We com- pared the therapeutic effect, HAMD and HAMA scores before and after treatment, adverse reactions after treatment, etc. Results The obvious efficiency rate and total effective rate were55.22% (37/67) and94.03% (63/67), they were significantly higher than control groups ( 34.33% (23/67) and80.60% (54/67) ), respectively (P<0.05) ; The HAMD and HAMA score between two groups has no significanl differences before treatment. The HAMD and HAMA score of observation group was significantly1ower than control group after treatment(P<0.05). The adverse reactions of observation group was significantlylower than control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion Com- pared with paroxetine, the therapeutic effect of escitalopram is better for depression associated with anxiety.
