Objective To explore the effects of WeChat based self-report and interactive platform on treatment compliance, quality of life and cognitive function of stroke patients. Methods From January 2017 to January 2018, 198 stroke patients treated in Anyang City Hospital hospital were selected and divided into control group (99 cases) and observation group (99 cases) by random number table method. WeChat-based self-report and interactive platform was used in the observation group, and routine follow-up was used in the control group. After 3 months of intervention, treatment compliance, quality of life and cognitive function were assessed in both groups, stroke recurrence within 1 year was compared between the two groups. Results The treatment compliance rate of the observation group was significantly higher than control group (82.83% vs 68.69%;χ2=5.390,P=0.020). The scores of energy, family role, language, activity ability, emotion, personality, self-care ability, thinking, body function and labor in observation group were significantly higher than control group (P<0.05), there were no significant differences in social roles and visual acuity scores between the two groups (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in MMSE, HDS and CDR scores between the two groups before intervention (P > 0.05), after intervention, MMSE and HDS scores were significantly increased and CDR scores were significantly decreased in both groups (P < 0.05), and MMSE and HDS scores in observation group were significantly higher than control group, CDR scores in observation group were significantly lower than control group (P < 0.05). The risk of recurrence in the control group was significantly higher than that in the observation group (HR=3.434,95%CI[1.327,8.890],P=0.020).Conclusions WeChat based self-report and interactive platform can effectively improve the treatment compliance, quality of life and cognitive function of stroke patients.
