Objective: To explore the psychological impact of medical disputes on medical workers and put forward reasonable countermeasures. Methods: 100 medical workers in public hospitals with medical disputes from March 2018 to December 2019 were randomly selected as observation group, and 100 medical workers without medical disputes during the same period were selected as control group. The differences of HAMA and HAMD scores between the two groups were compared and analyzed, and the risk factors of anxiety and depression were analyzed by multivariate regression analysis. Results: ①There was significant difference in HAMD total score between the two groups (t=11.907, P=0.000). Among the factors, anxiety/somatization, sleep disorder, weight loss, despair and agitation in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). ② There was significant difference in HAMA total score between the two groups (t = 14.271, P = 0.000). Among the factors, the scores of mental anxiety and somatic anxiety in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with significant difference (P < 0.05). ③ The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that women, those with lower education, those with lower professional titles, those with lower working years and those with medical disputes were the influencing factors of anxiety/depression. Conclusion: After medical disputes, medical staff will have anxiety, depression and other emotions. It is suggested to adopt reasonable coping measures to improve the bad psychological state.
