Department of Pediatrics, Kaifeng People’s Hospital of Henan Province, Kaifeng 475000【Abstract】 Objective To observe the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children with autism, analyze the influencing factors of autism, and provide the basis for early screening and intervention planning of future childrens autism psychological behaviors. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 63 children with autism who were received in the pediatric outpatient clinic of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019, and set it as the autism group; In addition, the clinical data of 80 healthy children who were examined in our pediatric outpatient clinic during the same period were collected and set as the control group. Read and analyzed all children’s relevant information carefully, designed a questionnaire based on general condition, analyzed the psychological and behavioral characteristics of children and found out the occurrence of childhood autism. Results Among the 63 children with autism included, 25 had various degrees of language development retardation and abnormality, 23 children had social communication disorders, 30 children had abnormal interests and behaviors, and 18 children had cognitive problems defect; Incorporating possible influencing factors, the results of single factor and multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the mother’s occupation as a professional and technical personnel, poor family economics, mother’s history of pregnancy, neonatal jaundice, and genetic history of autism may all be influencing factors for the occurrence of childhood autism (OR>1, P<0.05). Conclusion Childhood autism generally has adverse psychological and behavioral characteristics, and the occurrence of the disease is affected by a variety of factors. Early screening and early intervention was necessary to reduce the incidence of autism.
