【 Abstract 】Objective To investigate the effects of combined ward rounds on mental resilience, negative emotions and quality of life in patients with breast cancer. Methods 105 cases of breast cancer patients in our hospital were selected as the research object and divided into two groups according to random number table method. The control group (52 cases) underwent separate rounds of routine medical care, and the observation group (53 cases) underwent joint rounds of medical care. The differences of negative emotions, quality of life and mental resilience between the two groups before and after intervention were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of optimism, resilience, strength and total score in the Chinese Psychological Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) were higher than those in the control group. The scores of emotional status, physiological status, social/family status, functional status and additional concern in FACT-B were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of medical care and ward rounds can relieve the negative emotions, improve the mental resilience and improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
