Rural revitalization is a major project related to the national economy and the peoples livelihood, and industrial prosperity is an important basis for rural revitalization. As a province with large resources of traditional Chinese medicine, Shaanxi Province is rich in natural and cultural resources and has a good industrial foundation. Vigorously developing the traditional Chinese medicine industry will effectively promote the prosperity of the rural industry and build a beautiful countryside. This paper uses SWOT analysis tools to analyze the development status of Shaanxi traditional Chinese medicine industry under the background of rural revitalization, and proposes optimization paths such as promoting the integration of three industries of traditional Chinese medicine industry, promoting the development of traditional Chinese medicine cultural tourism, strengthening the scientific and technological innovation ability of industry, promoting the rapid development of the "Qinyao" brand, and improving the quality assurance system of industry, so as to promote the high-quality development of Shaanxi traditional Chinese medicine industry and help rural revitalization.
