Objective to analyze the effect of prescription review of decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine on its clinical rational application and improving the quality of pharmaceutical care. Method Our hospital began to carry out prescription review in July 2021, grouped according to the implementation time of prescription review, and listed 200 pieces of prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine from June 2020 to June 2021 as the control group, and the prescriptions were reviewed regularly; 200 pieces of Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions from July 2021 to June 2022 were included in the study group, and comments on Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions were implemented. The irrational drug use, adverse reactions and satisfaction of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results the incidence of clinical irrational drug use in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). In terms of satisfaction, the study group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion prescription review is conducive to the rational clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, improve the quality of pharmaceutical care, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, and can be further popularized in clinic.
