Objective To explore the practice of continuous nursing on self-care ability and quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods The subjects of this study were rheumatoid arthritis patients (108 cases), all of whom were admitted to our hospital from September 2019 to March 2020. They were divided into control group and observation group according to different nursing methods, with 54 cases in each group. The former group was given routine nursing follow-up, and the latter group was given continuous nursing, and then the scores of self-care ability of the two groups at the time of discharge and 3 months after discharge were compared. Results After comparing the self-care ability and quality of life scores of the two groups, it was found that there was no significant difference between the two groups at the time of discharge, P>0.05, and there was a big difference 3 months after discharge. Self- care responsibility, self-care skills, self-care knowledge, total score of self-care ability and quality of life scores were significantly higher than those of the control group, P<0.05. Conclusion Continued nursing is more effective than routine follow-up, and the patients self-care ability is significantly improved, which has important clinical significance.
