| Abstract |
English is one of the main disciplines of institutions of higher learning. With the development of economic integration, the importance of English is becoming increasingly prominent, which is conducive to promoting college students future job hunting. Therefore, in recent years, Chinese colleges and universities have been in English teaching reform, cultivating students ability of listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation, but the importance of English reading teaching is generally low, mainly for the interpretation of knowledge, the understanding of the text, and the English simple, stylized problems, have seriously affected the quality and effect of reading. With the application of the evaluation type of English reading strategy as an example, the corresponding countermeasures are given for the current English classroom teaching situation.
