Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of azithromycin on children with asthma. Methods: A total of 200 children with asthma in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected. The number table was randomly divided into 2 groups with 100 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional drug treatment, and the observation group was given azithromycin on this basis. Cough, wheezing and wheezing disappeared time, inflammatory status, total effective rate and adverse reactions of patients before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results: The disappearance time of cough, wheeze and wheeze in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the inflammatory status of patients after treatment was lower than that in the control group, and the total effective rate was higher than that in the control group, P < 0.05. There were no adverse reactions in both groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Conventional drugs combined with azithromycin has a definite therapeutic effect on children with asthma, which can further control inflammation and accelerate the control of clinical symptoms. It is worth promoting.
