Objective: To analyze the effect of comfort nursing in the nursing of patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods: the study period was from January 2021 to January 2022. The subjects were 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in our hospital during this period. They were randomly divided into two groups. One group was the experimental group, which was given comfortable care, and the other group was the routine group, which was given routine care. The effects of the two groups were compared. Results: the score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the conventional group (P < 0.05); Before nursing, there was no difference in lumbar muscle strength score between the experimental group and the conventional group (P > 0.05). After nursing, the lumbar muscle strength score of the experimental group was higher than that of the routine group (P < 0.05). There was no difference in VAS score between the two groups before nursing, P > 0.05; After nursing, the VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the routine group (P < 0.05). After nursing, the comfort score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the routine group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: comfortable nursing care for patients with lumbar disc herniation can improve their lumbar function, reduce their pain and reduce the occurrence of various complications.
