Objective: To analyze the application effect of evidence-based nursing in postoperative diet nursing of gastric cancer. Methods from February 2020 to April 2022, 62 patients with gastric cancer who received surgical treatment in our hospital were included in this study. They were randomly divided into two groups: the reference group (31 cases) and the study group (31 cases). For the two groups of postoperative gastric cancer patients with different dietary nursing intervention, the reference group used conventional nursing mode, the study group used evidence-based nursing. The nursing effect of the two groups was observed, and the relevant indicators and data were analyzed and compared. Results After nursing, there were no significant differences in MBI and protein levels between the two groups, but the nutritional status (1.35±0.13 points), disease status (1.02±0.13 points) and total nutritional risk screening score (2.62±0.14 points) of the study group were significantly lower than that of the control group. Meanwhile, the study group had higher satisfaction (96.77%>77.42%). Conclusion Evidence-based nursing has significant application effect in postoperative dietary nursing of gastric cancer, which can effectively improve the nutritional status of patients and reduce postoperative risk, so that patients and their families are more recognized and satisfied, and can be used as the preferred nursing mode for future related treatment.
