Objective To analyze the application effect of psychological nursing in the nursing of patients with depression and the intervention value of clinical efficacy. Methods From April 2020 to May 2021, 82 cases of depression patients diagnosed and treated in our hospital were analyzed. They were divided into two groups by random drawing method, 41 cases in the reference group received conventional nursing, 41 cases in the practice group received psycho- logical nursing on the basis of the reference group, and the clinical efficacy, psychological state and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of practice group was significantly higher than that of reference group, P<0.05; SAS and SDS in practice group were lower than those in reference group, P<0.05; The scores of emotional function and other quality of life in the practice group were higher than those in the reference group, P<0.05. Conclusion Psychological nursing for patients with depression can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of patients, improve negative psychological emotions such as anxiety and depression, improve the quality of life of patients.
