Objective: To analyze the effects of perioperative orthopaedic nursing intervention based on the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery on pain score and nausea and vomiting. Methods: The subjects of this experiment were orthopedic surgery patients who were admitted to hospital from April 2020.04 to April 2022.04. A total of 86 patients were enrolled. The patients were divided into control group (conventional nursing, n=43) and study group (nursing based on the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery, n=43) by computer blind selection method. The recovery, adverse reactions and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The VAS score, the time of getting out of bed and the time of drainage tube removal in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of physiological function, emotional function, social function and mental health in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Nursing intervention based on the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery for orthopedic surgery patients has a promoting effect on improving pain symptoms.
