Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on the safety nursing of elderly patients with nephrology. Methods 106 patients in the Department of Nephrology were randomly selected from our hospital from June 2021 to may 2022. They were divided into the study group (n=53) and the control group (n=53) according to the numerical method. Routine nursing was adopted in the control group and comprehensive nursing intervention was adopted in the study group. The nursing satisfaction of the two groups, the scores of depression and anxiety before and after nursing, the incidence of adverse events of the two groups, and the scores of quality of life before and after nursing were compared as the observation indicators. Results: the nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group. After nursing, the depression and anxiety scores of the study group were lower than that of the control group. The probability of infection, pressure sores, bed falling, falling and edema of the patients in the study group was lower than that of the control group. After nursing, the quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion the nursing intervention for the middle-aged and elderly patients in nephrology is helpful to reduce the occurrence of risk factors during nursing, which fully reflects the importance of high-quality nursing and has significant value in promotion.
