Objective To analyze the effect of 6S management in the process of quality nursing in gynecology and obstetrics wards. Methods: from January 2020 to January 2022, 120 patients were randomly selected from the gynecology and obstetrics wards for experimental study. According to the intervention form, the patients were divided into different groups, i.e. experiment and control. The number of patients in each group was 60. All patients in the control group received routine nursing. The whole patients in the experimental group implemented 6S management method and compared the relevant indicators. Results: the satisfaction of the experimental group was 96.67%, and that of the control group was 76.67%, P < 0.05. Before the intervention, there was no difference in negative emotions between the two groups (P > 0.05). After the intervention, the negative emotion of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The service quality of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The hospitalization time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the application of 6S management method in the quality nursing of clinical gynecology and obstetrics ward can improve the satisfaction of patients, improve the bad mood, improve the quality of nursing service and shorten the hospitalization time of patients.
