Objective To explore the application effect of psychological nursing in the nursing of patients with pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods A total of 72 patients with pelvic inflammatory disease treated in our hospital were randomly selected as the subjects of this study, starting from December 2018 and ending from December 2020. All patients who participated in the survey were divided into two groups by random number table method, which were the control group receiving routine nursing and the experimental group receiving psychological nursing, with 36 patients in each group. The scores of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), nursing satisfaction rate and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The SAS and SDS scores of patients in the two groups before nursing had no clinical statistical significance (P>0.05), and the SAS and SDS scores of patients in the experimental group after nursing were lower than those in the control group, and the data were different (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the data comparison results were significant (P<0.05). The quality of life score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of psychological nursing for patients with pelvic inflammatory disease can effectively improve the nursing satisfaction rate and quality of life of patients, and can improve the negative emotions of patients, this method has the clinical value of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
