Objective To explore the application effect of hope theory in clinical rehabilitation nursing of postpartum depression patients. Methods a total of 100 patients with postpartum depression were selected from January 2021 to March 2022. The data were included in the statistical table. The patients were divided into the routine group (2021.01 - 2021.07) and the experimental group (2021.08 - 2022.03) according to the order of admission, with 40 patients in each group. The routine group was given routine health guidance nursing, and the experimental group was given hope theory and psychological nursing. Quality of life score, EPDS and HHI index and incidence of depression were compared between the two groups before and after nursing. Results before nursing, there was no difference in EPDS, HHI and quality of life between the two groups (P > 0.05). After nursing, compared with the routine group, the quality of life score and HHI index of the experimental group were higher (P < 0.05). Compared with the routine group, the incidence of depression and EPDS score in the experimental group were lower (P < 0.05). Conclusion the application of hope theory in the clinical rehabilitation nursing of postpartum depression patients can avoid the occurrence of depression and improve the rehabilitation hope index. It is suggested to popularize the application.
