Objective To analyze and explore the common complications of patients undergoing chemotherapy in the Department of Medical Oncology, and to seek corresponding nursing strategies. Methods From January 2021 to December 2021, 1200 patients with chemotherapy in internal oncology were selected to participate in the two groups of controlled experiments. After grouping all patients following the principle of randomness and equality, different nursing measures were taken, respectively, routine care and comprehensive care, and the common complications of patients undergoing chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology were summarized, and two modes of care were discussed through patient satisfaction with nursing services. Results The satisfaction rate of the experimental group after nursing care was 96.00%, which was significantly higher than that of the 83.71% satisfaction of the patients in the control group, and the P value calculated by the corresponding data reached the standard of less than 0.05. After investigation, it was found that patients with internal medicine chemotherapy often had complications such as negative emotions, gastrointestinal discomfort, and hair loss, and the risk of infection was greater. Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients undergoing chemotherapy in medical oncology can provide better nursing services for patients and improve patient satisfaction with nursing services.
