Objective To explore the effect of pain nursing + hospice care for patients with advanced gastric cancer during hospitalization. Methods the study period was from May 2021 to June 2022. A total of 60 patients were selected from the oncology department of the hospital. They were divided into two groups by statistical methods. They were divided into the study group and the control group, with 30 patients in each group. The final results were compared. Results after receiving hospice care, the psychological state of patients with gastric cancer in the study group was significantly improved, the scores of depression, hostility and terror were decreased, and the scores of psychosis and obsessive-compulsive disorder were lower than those in the control group; The pain score of the study group was lower after the intervention; Before the intervention, the scores of quality of life were similar among the groups. After the intervention, the scores of social function and health field of the patients with gastric cancer in the study group were higher, and the average values of symptoms and single items were lower (P < 0.05). Conclusion comprehensive humanistic care and pain intervention in patients with advanced gastric cancer can improve the fear of patients and alleviate the pain response to radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
