Traditional art design activities need the accumulation of experience and time, but with the continuous development of computer technology, traditional art design activities have been unable to meet the needs of social development. Therefore, in this context, we can use computer technology to carry out art design activities. Through the comparative analysis between traditional art design and computer art design, this paper studies the problems that should be noticed and relevant references when applying computer art design activities in the Internet era. In modern society, computer technology has brought great convenience to Chinas economic development and social progress. Especially in the information age, it is mastered by people and has brought great changes to peoples lives. In todays information age, more and more people are interested in and dependent on this new technology, and have new knowledge and understanding of life and work. But at present, many colleges and universities in China have not introduced traditional culture and art into art education.
