Objective To study the utility value of nurse-led pain management model in trauma orthopedics. Methods A total of 146 patients were selected for the comparative test in this study, all of whom were admitted to the Department of Trauma and Orthopedics. They were divided into two groups: control and observation by blind sampling, with 73 patients in each group. Patients implemented a nurse-led pain management model, and compared the nighttime sleep, the use of analgesics and pain scores between the two groups of patients. Results The study showed that the use rate of various analgesic drugs in the observation group was significantly lower, the pain score was significantly improved, and the sleep quality was greatly improved (P<0.05). Conclusion For trauma ortho- pedic patients, the application of a nurse-led pain management model can effectively improve the analgesic effect, achieve diversified analgesic purposes, and minimize the use of opioids while relieving patients pain. Funda- mentally improve the patients sleep quality.
