Objective To analyze the clinical effect of implementing early graded personalized prevention and control nursing on the prevention of thrombosis in autologous arteriovenous fistulas in hemodialysis patients. Methods The data of 64 patients who received hemodialysis treatment in our hospital from April 2025 to April 2026 were collected. They were divided into two groups with an equal number of cases according to the random number table. A prospective analysis was conducted. The control group received routine care, and the observation group received early graded personalized prevention and control nursing. The self-management level of autologous arteriovenous fistulas and the incidence of complications of the two groups before and after the intervention were compared. Results After the intervention, the comparison of self-management scores of autologous arteriovenous fistulas between the two groups showed that the observation group had a higher score (P < 0.05); the comparison of the incidence of complications of autologous arteriovenous fistulas between the two groups showed that the observation group had a lower incidence (P < 0.05). Conclusion Early graded personalized prevention and control nursing has a significant effect in the prevention of thrombosis in autologous arteriovenous fistulas in hemodialysis patients, which can effectively improve the self-management ability of patients for autologous arteriovenous fistulas and reduce the incidence of complications.
