Objective To explore the clinical nursing effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot envelop therapy in patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods 200 patients undergoing surgery were randomly divided into two groups, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received general surgical nursing, while the observation group was additionally treated with auricular point pressing beans and traditional Chinese medicine hot envelop therapy. The postoperative pain conditions and gastrointestinal intervention situations of the two groups were compared. Results The VAS pain scores of the observation group at 12 hours and 24 hours after surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group; the incidence of nausea and vomiting (8.0%) was also much lower than that of the control group (28.0%), and the differences were statistically significantly (P < 0.001). Conclusion This traditional Chinese medicine characteristic combined with external treatment method can effectively relieve pain and nausea/vomiting symptoms, reduce the occurrence rate of postoperative complications, conform to the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery, and has strong clinical application and promotion significance.
