Objective To explore the clinical effect of Huoxiang Zhengqi water navel hot compress combined with conventional nursing on stroke constipation patients. Methods 70 stroke patients with constipation admitted from January to December 2025 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 35 cases in each group. The observation group received additional hot compress of Huoxiang Zhengqi water on the navel on the basis of routine care, while the control group received routine care. Results The first defecation time of the observation group patients was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and constipation related costs were also significantly reduced (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 85.71%, which was higher than the 68.57% of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the PAC-QOL score in the observation group decreased to 53.25 ± 18.13, significantly lower than the post-treatment score of 81.53 ± 23.87 in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Huoxiang Zhengqi Water Umbilical Hot compress can effectively promote defecation, improve clinical efficacy, and enhance quality of life in stroke patients with constipation, and has high clinical application value.
