【Abstract】Objective To explore the clinical effects for the patients with schizophrenia treated by modified electroconvulsive therapy, aripiprazole and olanzapine. Methods 92 cases of patients with schizophrenia were divided into experiment group and control group. The experiment group were treated by modified electroconvulsive therapy and aripiprazole, the control group were treated by modified electroconvulsive therapy and olanzapine. The condition and quality of life befor and after treanment, the clinical effects, executive function and side effect were observed. Results There had no significant difference on the activities PANSS score for the two groups after treatment(P＞0.05); There had no significant difference on the activities quality of life score for the two groups after treatment(P＞0.05); There had no difference on the clinical effects between the two groups(P＞0.05); There had no significant difference on the result of WCST between the two groups(P＞0.05); The rate of body weight gain, blood glucose rise, total rate for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The rate of acathisiaakathisia for the experiment group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion It has good clinical effects for the patients with schizophrenia treated by modified electroconvulsive therapy, aripiprazole and olanzapine, the condition, quality of life and executive function are improved obvious, but the side effect of the aripiprazole are lower, it has higher values of clinical application.
