Objective To analyze the application effect of evidence-based nursing in patients with oral mucositis complicated by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Methods The study subjects were 48 patients with oral mucositis complicated by autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, who were selected from our hospital from January 2024 to January 2025. Divided into a control group and an experimental group using a random number table method, with 24 cases in each group. The former adopts routine care, while the latter adopts evidence-based care. Evaluate the incidence of oral mucositis and quality of life in two groups. Results Compared with the conventional group, the experimental group had a significantly lower incidence of oral mucositis (P<0.05) and a significantly higher quality of life score (P<0.05). Conclusion Evidence based nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of oral mucositis in patients with concurrent oral mucositis after autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, improve their quality of life, and is worthy of promotion and application.
