Objective To conduct an in-depth investigation and analysis of the antihypertensive efficacy of levamlodipine besylate tablets in the clinical treatment of hypertensive patients. The study focused on evaluating the drug’s performance in maintaining stable blood pressure control, as well as assessing therapeutic differences and safety profiles among patients, to provide detailed reference for rational clinical medication use. Methods Hypertensive patients treated from October 2025 to January 2026 were enrolled, with 62 cases randomly divided into two groups (n=31 each). The observation group received levamlodipine besylate tablets, while the control group received nifedipine sustained-release tablets. Results The observation group demonstrated statistically significant differences in therapeutic efficacy and adverse reactions compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Levamlodipine besylate tablets effectively and consistently reduce blood pressure, enabling long-term maintenance of target values within optimal ranges and achieving favorable overall therapeutic outcomes. The medication not only improves blood pressure control with higher stability but also reduces the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases as well as complications associated with hypertension.
