Abstract Objective: To observe the home-based nursing intervention psychological care and nursing effects in surgical treatment of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: May 2015 - July 2016 the hospital for treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma surgical treatment of 70 patients were randomly divided into control group method (n = 35) and observation group (n = 35). The control group using conventional methods of care, observation group for home-based psychological care, nursing effect in two groups. Results: The two groups before treatment Hamilton Depression Scale scores, anxiety scores showed no significant difference (P> 0.05); the observation group after treatment Hamilton Depression Scale score, anxiety score was significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05 ); 2 group care before social objective, subjective support and utilization of social support and social support was no significant difference (P> 0.05); after observation group care social objective, subjective support and utilization of social support and social support total points, significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05); the observation group subjective feeling fearful rate was significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05); the observation group care active, positive and confident rate was significantly higher ( P <0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by surgery when psychological care benefits over home-based, and should be widely applied.
