Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of whole seamless nursing model on mood disorders and quality of life in patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).Methods A total of 84 patients with MHD in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were collected,all were divided into observation group and control group,42 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing model,the observation group received whole seamless nursing model.Before and 3 months after nursing,the emotional assessment were evaluated by Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS),the quality of life was evaluated by concise Health Questionnaire (SF-36),and the incidence of complications between the two groups were compared.Results 3 months after nursing,the scores of SAS and SDS was (41.12±4.21) and (40.21±4.13) in observation group, significantly lower than (50.35±7.34) and (47.86 ±6.65) in the control group (P<0.05); 3 months after nursing,the scores of all dimensions of SF-36 in observation group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);The complication rate was 4.76% in observation group, significantly lower than 30.95% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of whole seamless nursing model can improve mood disorders and quality of life in patients with MHD,it can reduce the incidence of complications.
