| Abstract |
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of combined negative pressure occlusive drainage and silver-containing liquid dressing therapy for diabetic foot patients. Methods From February 2022 to March 2025,88 diabetic foot patients were randomly divided into two groups (44 each). The control group received conventional treatment, while the study group underwent combined negative pressure occlusive drainage and silver-containing liquid dressing therapy. Clinical outcomes were measured through satisfaction scores, granulation tissue coverage rate, wound bacterial clearance rate, granulation tissue morphology score, as well as IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, hs-CRP levels, self-management ability scores, and quality of life scores before and after treatment. Results The study group demonstrated higher satisfaction scores than the control group (P <0.05). The study group also showed superior granulation tissue coverage rate, wound bacterial clearance rate, and granulation tissue morphology score compared to the control group (P <0.05). Pre-treatment baseline values for IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, hs-CRP, self-management ability scores, and quality of life scores in the study group were comparable to those in the control group (P> 0.05). After treatment, the study group demonstrated superior values in IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, hs-CRP measurements, self-management ability scores, and quality of life scores compared to the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The combined therapy of negative pressure occlusive drainage and silver-containing liquid dressing for diabetic foot patients demonstrates significant efficacy and is clinically recommended for widespread adoption.
