Objective To analyze the effects of different anesthesia methods on blood glucose and blood pressure in diabetes patients undergoing surgery. Methods 60 patients with diabetes who received surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into the control group (n=30 cases, general anesthesia) and the observation group (n=30 cases, intraspinal anesthesia). Compare the blood pressure, blood glucose, and heart rate levels of two groups of patients at different time points. Results The blood pressure levels, fasting blood glucose, and heart rate levels of the observation group patients were significantly lower than those of the control group patients at 30 minutes after the start and end of surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Intraspinal anesthesia program for surgical treatment of diabetes patients helps to maintain the stability of blood pressure, blood sugar and heart rate during the operation, reduce the stress reaction of patients, and has achieved good clinical results.
