Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of labetalol and nifedipine sustained-release tablets in patients with gestational hypertension (HDP). Methods A total of 66 patients with HDP admitted to our hospital from May 2023 to July 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (33 cases, treated with rabetalol) and the observation group (33 cases, treated with rabetalol + nifedipine sustained-release tablets) according to the random number table method. The blood pressure [diastolic blood pressure (DBP), systolic blood pressure (SBP)] and hemorheological indicators [plasma viscosity (PV), whole blood viscosity (N)] of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the DBP, SBP, PV and N indicators of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The combined treatment of labetalol and nifedipine sustained-release tablets in patients with HBP can effectively lower blood pressure, improve the hemorheological indicators of patients, increase the rate of natural delivery, and thereby prevent the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, which has significant clinical value.
