Abstract:objective To explore butylphthalide soft capsule therapeutic effect of Parkinsons patients with dementia, and to observe its effect on improving cognitive function in patients and daily living.Methods Cut selected hospital in October 2012 ~ March 2016 76 patients with Parkinsons dementia according randomly divided into a control group and treatment group, 38 cases in each. Two groups of patients were treated with anti-depressants and other conventional treatment, the control group received hydrochloride donepezil in the treatment, the initial dose of 5 mg /d, 1 times / d; after treatment 7d to 10 mg/d, 1 times/d; treatment group butylphthalide soft capsule treatment, 2/time, 2 times/d. Both groups were treated for 12 weeks, respectively, before treatment and after 12 weeks of treatment using the Parkinsons Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) to evaluate the control of the disease, using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) evaluate cognitive function improvement; mini-mental state examination (MMSE) to evaluate its improved state of cognitive impairment; use of daily living (ADL) scale to evaluate the activities of daily living. Before and after treatment were measured in serum PAPK7, CRP and NT-3 levels. Statistics clinical efficacy and adverse reactions.Results After treatment before UPDRS score was significantly lower than treatment, MMSE, ADL and MoCA score was significantly higher than that before treatment, after treatment, UPDRS score was significantly lower than the control group, while the MMSE, ADL and MoCA score was significantly higher, P <0.05. After treatment PARK7 and CRP levels were significantly lower than before treatment, and NT-3 levels were significantly higher than before treatment, after treatment PARK7 and CRP levels were significantly lower than the control group, significantly higher levels of NT-3, P <0.05. After treatment, the total efficiency of 94.74%, significantly higher than 73.68%, P <0.05; there is no adverse reaction occurs during treatment.Conclusion Application butylphenol soft capsules treatment of Parkinsons dementia can significantly improve patients cognitive function and activities of daily living, improve the clinical efficacy and with higher security.
