[Abstract] Objective To explore the application effect of psychological nursing in patients with chronic periodontitis complicated with coronary heart disease treatment．Methods 80 cases of patients with chronic periodontitis complicated with coronary heart disease in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2016 were selected, they were randomly divided into psychological nursing group (n=40) and routine nursing group (n=40) two groups, the routine nursing group were given routine nursing, while the psychological nursing group were given routine nursing care combined with psychological nursing, then the the combined treatment, self adjustment, regular visits, condition improved, PD, BI, PI, AL and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were statistically analyzed．Results The combined treatment, self adjustment, regular visits, condition improved rates of the psychological nursing group were significantly higher (P<0.05), the PD, BI, PI and AL were significantly lower (P<0.05), the nursing satisfaction 95% (38/40) was significantly higher than the routine nursing group 65% (26/40) (P<0.05)．Conclusion The application effect of psychological nursing in patients with chronic periodontitis complicated with coronary heart disease treatment is good.
