[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the relativity of negative emotion and cognitive impairment in patients with anxiety disorder . Methods: From June 2015 to June 2016，102 patients with anxiety disorder were chosen as study group, and 100 healthy people were chosen as control group at the same time. The HAMA, HAMD, MoCA and rate of cognitive impairment were compared between two groups, and the relativitybetween MoCA and HAMD/ HAMD was analized. Results: In study group, the HAMA was (19.7±5.3), the HAMD was (23.4±5.6), the MoCA was (25.0±1.9), and the rate of cognitive impairment was 82.35% (84/102) ; these in control group were respectively (8.8±3.5), (7.1±1.3), (27.2±2.5) and 13.00% (13/100) . Compared with control group, the HAMA, HAMD and rate of cognitive impairment of study group were higher, and the MoCA of study group was lower, the difference demonstrated statistical significance between two groups (P＜0.05).MoCA had significantly opposite relativity with HAMA (r=-0.226，P=0.027) and HAMD (r=-0.231，P=0.015) . Conclusion: The anxiety and depression could exert negative influence on cognitive function in patients with anxiety disorder .
