【Abstract】Objective Study the risk factors for postpartum depression in pregnant women and observe the status of health literacy. Methods 2914 pregnant and postpartum women who underwent prenatal examinations and delivery at four second level or above comprehensive hospitals in our city from August 2022 to August 2023, including 431 cases of postpartum depression and 2483 cases of non postpartum depression. Collect general information, including age, educational level, place of residence, family income, marital relationship, delivery method, and newborn health status. At the same time, observe the health literacy status based on the postpartum maternal and infant health literacy assessment questionnaire,The risk factors of postpartum depression in pregnant women were analyzed by unconditional Logistic stepby-step regression. Results The proportion of age ≥35 years old, middle family income and below, poor couple affection, cesarean section and unhealthy newborn in postpartum depression group were significantly higher than those in non-postpartum depression group (P < 0.05), and the scores of health service utilization, health promotion and disease prevention in postpartum depression group were significantly lower than those in non-postpartum depression group (P < 0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥35 years old, middle family income and below, poor relationship between husband and wife, unhealthy newborn, health service utilization score, health promotion score and disease prevention score were risk factors for postpartum depression (P < 0.05). Conclusion Age, family income, husband and wife affection, newborn health status, health service utilization score, health promotion score and disease prevention score are the influencing factors of postpartum depression, and clinical attention should be paid to these factors.
