【Abstract】 Objective Analyze the influencing factors of depression in patients with malignant digestive system tumors undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods 99 patients with malignant digestive system tumors who underwent radiotherapy and chemotherapy in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects. According to the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) score, they were divided into a depression group (n=55) and a non depression group (n=44). Collect and compare clinical data of two groups of patients, and use multiple logistic regression analysis to identify the risk factors affecting depression in patients with malignant digestive system tumors undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Results The diagnostic grade, frequency of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, monthly family income, family function, social support, serum albumin, hemoglobin, and other factors were compared between the depression group and the non depression group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Logistic multiple regression analysis showed that diagnostic grade, frequency of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, monthly family income, family function, social support, serum albumin, and hemoglobin were all independent factors affecting the development of depression in patients with malignant digestive system tumors undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy (P<0.05). Conclusion The occurrence of depression in patients with malignant digestive system tumors undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy is influenced by factors such as diagnostic grade, frequency of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, monthly family income, family function, social support, serum albumin, hemoglobin, etc. Among them, high family function and social support, high serum albumin and hemoglobin levels are protective factors.
