【Abstract】:Objective: To explore the depression-anxiety-insomnia network among college students in the latter stages of COVID-19 outbreak using network analysis. Method: We collected 86,767 valid questionnaires (92.8% effective rate) from 22 universities in Guangdong Province from June 10 to 18, 2021, and assessed depression, anxiety, and insomnia using the Patient Health Questionaire-9 items(PHQ-9), 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale(GAD-7), and Adolescent Self-Rated Insomnia Scale(YSIS). Depression, anxiety and insomnia network structures were characterized using "Strength" and "Bridge Strength" as network structure indicators. Result: Nodes GAD_6 (Irritability), PHQ_4 (Energy), and GAD_4 (Trouble relaxing) were high centrality symptoms of the network, while PHQ_9 (Suicide), PHQ_4 (Energy), YSIS_7 (Unrefreshing sleep), GAD_7 (Felling afraid), and PHQ_8 (Motor) were bridge symptoms of the network structure. Conclusion: The strength and bridge symptoms in the adolescent depression-anxiety-insomnia network may be target symptoms for effective interventions. By treating these symptoms can prevent psychological problems and help adolescents currently suffering from depression, anxiety and insomnia.
