【 Abstract 】 Objective To explore the effects of different doses of mirtazapine on the symptoms and emotional state of Parkinson's disease patients with depression. Methods A total of 97 patients with Parkinson's disease and depression admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to October 2023 were selected and grouped by random number table method. Forty-eight patients in the control group were given 15mg mirtazapine treatment, and 49 patients in the observation group were given 30mg mirtazapine treatment. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD), Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS); Parkinson's symptoms: The Unified Parkimson's disease rating seale (UPDRS) and adverse reactions. Results: There was no statistical significance in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the scores of HAMD, UPDRS and MADRS were lower than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: 30mg mirtazapine can effectively relieve the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and reduce the expression of depressive emotion in the treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease and depression, and improve the clinical treatment effect with high safety.
