With the rapid development and transformation of the healthcare industry, mandatory policies regarding internal controls have been continuously updated. Psychiatric hospitals are facing increasingly complex operational environments and internal control challenges. Taking the practice of internal control construction in psychiatric hospitals as an example, this article proposes the characteristics and necessity of internal control construction, points out the current problems and deficiencies in the internal control system, summarizes the practical experience of internal control construction in psychiatric hospitals, and provides useful references for similar hospitals in their internal control efforts.
